Column in the way that Jigsaw addresses the street. Upstairs, Coates uses the spiraling light track seen in previous Jigsaws to animate the interior and draw customers through the space.
The Terrazzo staircase, left, erropts in the centre of the main upstairs selling floor, framing the blue glass chandelier that hangs in the stairwell. Behind the stairs, right, wall mirrors appear to doubl the space - a familiar enough device - while maximising the impact of the sculptural curves.
